The Corpse Bride Boudoir Session

When this gorgeous human, Nikki, asked us to do a Corpse Bride themed session, we jumped at the opportunity! We love doing out of the box creative sessions! Is it technically boudoir? Honestly, I’m not sure what others will say, but we have a wide definition for “boudoir.” For us, it’s empowering and intimate portraiture. And this session was empowering for our brave corpse bride.

I’m always impressed when I give our hair and makeup artist Tia a creative challenge, because she hits it out of the park every time. Paint someone pale blue all over? Check. Make them look like a cartoon corpse? Check. It’s wild how talented she is. And Nikki embraced all the weird posing we asked her to do including climbing into a bathtub that we’ve turned into a shallow grave.
